This may be a factor based on your Motherboard model. Some motherboards by default will have an automatic fan speed control (some brands will allow you to edit this controller) that will change the fan speeds of your PCI slot graphics card (generally non-expansion PCI card connections). I would check your bios and or motherboard manual to see if this is the reason why.
Another thing is that it could be a driver setting. You won't likely see this setting in the Mesa drivers, but the AMDgpu drivers you may. You can always see if that is the reason why.
More than likely this code isn't causing the fan speed fluctuations, so I would check everything else.
Hi there, I have installed your app and when i run
sudo ./amdgpu-pro-fans.sh -s 40
The fan speed drops to 40% for around 10 seconds then speeds up again.
How do i set to remain at 40%
