hi great job on the progress of getting things to work i was wondering if you could tell me a bit more about getting touch ID working on the older macbook and the newer macbook i can not find anything about just different security im looking at trying to ge the supoort done

Touch ID only works on macOS, it's been know for a while. apple has locked it from working outside of macOS.
