Road feature used in Sweden (Bärighet).

Information about Bärighetsklass for Sweden
https://www.trafikverket.se/for-dig-i-branschen/vag/bk--barighetsklasser-pavagar-
och-broar/

  • BK1 Max 64 tons total weight but total allowed weight can be lowered depending on the lenght of the wheelbase and axis load.
  • BK2 Max 51,4 tons total but total allowed weight can be lowered depending on the lenght of the wheelbase and axis load.
  • BK3 Max 37,5 total weight but total allowed weight can be lowered depending on the lenght of the wheelbase and axis load.
  • BK4 Max 74 tons total weight with same requirement on axis load as BK1 but lan be lowered with lenght of the wheelbase

Our wish is to simply have a defined classes 1-2-3-4, what map users can
resolve/translate to valid rules themselves

There is no sign for BK4 in Sweden, hence correct digital information is essential for
heavy transport vehicles.

Discussion (16/11/2021)

  1. Terminology: propose “roadBearingCapacityClass” with properties: BK1, BK2, BK3, KB4
  2. Extend a Sweden specific RFT and RFPT codelist – by Stephen, Knut to revise
