I am not sure, why BBA don't bid 2D the first time.

After bidding 3N, where I agree it should be bal/semibal with 18-19(20), I don't understand why South just jumps to 7 NT
17 + 18 = 35 meaning we can easily miss an ace

Actually this board was played with BBO-BEN, that rebid 2N instead of 3D.
BEN did bid 2H instaed of 3C as suggested by BBA, again a more correct bid
