I attempted to use again my old Xiaomi-Dafang camera, which I used to use with this hack before, just many years ago.
I re-formatted the SD card, re-flashed the bootloader (just for a good measure) and installed (i.e. copied) the firmware-mod folder from the current repository state.
Re-flashing the bootloader went smoothly.
I modified the config/wpa_supplicant.conf to allow it to access the 2.6GHz AP.
After powering up, after about 15 seconds the LED turned off.
I found the camera IP address on the network. I am able to ping it. I cannot access it web interface. The only open TCP port of the device is 8554.
Here's the copy of the log/startup.log after exactly one boot attempt. I left the camera running for 30 minutes.
I suspect that nowadays Xiaomi cameras come with much more powerful chipset, and maintainers of this repo decided to turn on some services by default to give users a better experience, sacrificing compatibility with such historic device as mine.

I can't login to my V2 Cam either... the only ports open are 22 and 23.... I was able to SSH into the V2 but i don't know what else I can do to restore the web interface
