The trainer community is eager being recognised for their contributions to training events as instructor or other contributor roles.
Describe the solution you'd like
Within the Bioschemas profile CourseInstance the property Instructor has been defined (https://schema.org/instructor). Furthermore, within the Bioschemas profile CourseInstance the property contributor (https://schema.org/contributor) has been defined which could be a Person or an Organisation.
I'd like to suggest to create dedicated fields for the training events in TeSS which could be filled manually as well as enriched by information from Bioschemas-based scraping.
As soon as the field would contain a Person, it would be nice to link this to the Trainer profile in TeSS.
We might to implement a process to link these functionalities.

In a few cases trainers are listed under “organiser”. Also, I would suggest treating the organiser as a list of discrete items mapped to a DB/ontology, such as trainers. If an event is co-organised between two entities, they get merged into a unique text field that is not easily searchable / mappable.
Possibly, also create alternative roles for trainers, helpers, materials developers, training organisers (people).
Various credit-related fields for Course/CourseInstance profiles:
Course
provider (Person/Organization) - “The organization responsible for providing the educational input for the course, e.g. content, assessments, accreditation etc. Note: providing a course goes beyond creating it as it implies some degree of academic responsibility for accrediting the content of the course, perhaps running assessments etc.”
creator (Person/Organization) - “The creator/author of the course. Note, this may be different from the instructor who delivers it (descibed[sic] in CourseInstance), or the author who created the training materials used.”
CourseInstance
instructor (Person) - “An instructor can be the main teacher or trainer, as well as a training assistant, or a helper.”
Contributor (Person/Organization) - “Contributors are those who made non-authorship contributions: e.g., critical review, commentary or revision.”
