This repository contains publicly available speech and text data in Luganda.
The dataset was constituted as a result of our research projects in the Makerere Artificial Intelligence Lab at the College of Computing and Information Sciences and collaborations with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of African Languages at Makerere University. The Artificial Research Lab of Makerere University under the Department of Computer Science has published this repository that contains translations for both Luganda and English, and Luganda audio transcriptions.
