My setup: I'm using Outlook 2019 on an Windows pc and latest Thunderbird (with addon Exchange Calendar 5.0.0-alpha3) on a Linux pc to access my calendar, which is stored in my account at our corporate Exchange server. My e-mail is not stored on our Exchange server but on a seperate IMAP server.
Problem (a): When I accept an invitation using Thunderbird, a new entry is added to my calendar as expected. But Outlook and Thunderbird do not recognize that entry to be related to the regarding invitation. Outlook still shows the invitation as an additional entry in my calendar that has not yet been accepted.
Problem (b): When I accept an invitation using Outlook, a new entry is added to my calendar as expected. But Thunderbird does not recognize that I have accepted the invitation. Each time I accept the same invitation again (using Thunderbird), an additional entry is added to my calendar.
Can these problems be fixed, so Outlook and Thunderbird will play well together regarding invitation handling?
