Action Performed:

1. Send few messages from Account A to Account B at some intervals

Expected Result:

Account B should be receiving both sound and notification

Actual Result:

However, I note sometimes I hear that there is a new message, even if I don't get a notification for it. It seems to happen in both DMs and public rooms, so I can't trace down why sometimes I get a notification, and sometimes I only get a sound.

I checked and I can not reproduce the problem (the only one case is when I have a chat already opened, then I can hear a sound and notification will not appear).

@m-natarajan may I ask you to provide more exact steps which I need to perform to reproduce the problem? 🙏

Given that we can't reliably repro this I am gonna close. Looking over #36846 there are a bunch of more specific sound/notification doesn't play when X issues, across those I think we have this issue covered!
