discussion on Hampus' ThinFilm data model (@hampusnasstrom please add slides and images from discussion below)

Questions/discussion points

• new sample if break system environement (e.g. sample out of vacuum)?
• in-situ measurement
• recipe information: assumed properties of a sample
• technology tricky, if ThinFilmStack goes into another process and gets other layers on top and no new sample is created
• process parameters: steps have own subtrate (as input), creates a layer (as output)
• interfaces need to be considered
• sample properties:
  • geometrical properties etc.

Conclusions:

• agreement on ThinFilmStack model
• so far only geometry in properties
• interface needed but kept optional
• one process creates ThinFilmStack
• implementation in processes:
  should be put in Vapor Deposition class as layer deposition,
