Hello,

When deploying a snapin I get the following error: https://framabin.org/?128a4a01062946a3#+ls27q6lpT+QCQdqeU/ycjTjBy6fhwJ5QtNlpi1iHIM=
I use the WPAD file along with Internet Explorer: https://framabin.org/?9955e4df831071f3#d1NJzfLt8IlrF7rfnzX0cBMybrRb8qYn+GltpQEKLoc=

Thanks for your help.

Is a proxy server required to access your fog server? Re-create the snapin task, and use the URL in the logs and paste this into a web-browser's URL bar and see what happens. For example only, this is the URL that the logs say the client was trying to use:
http://192.168.0.44/fog/service/snapins.file.php?mac=D4:BE:D9:BE:0D:43||00:00:00:00:00:00:00:E0&taskid=258

Proxy is set in browser but WPAD condition ignores LAN.

I made a new test with this result : https://framabin.org/?6c61b6703131e251#fwSrOcKJ8cqdk3FsA7kOPqDFfpORyY/t0UMiRNKmwg8=

Result of URL request with domain administrator account:

  1. without WPAD in IE; #!ns
  2. with WPAD : #!ns
    The domain administrator can't be authenticate to the proxy, as local accounts.

It was still working with FOG-1.3.0 RC7 and we do not make changes on the network.

Sounds very much related: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/13773/407-proxy-authentication-required

Setting this up is a lot of work and as we don't have many users reporting this I'll leave this for now until we hear from users with this issue again.
