Circle branch check is performed at runtime, allowing circles to be much faster than intended #873

Issue description

If the media wave of a spell circle encounters a branch (ie a position in which there are two potential paths it could take) then the circle will mishap and immediately shut off. However, unlike the check for a broken circle, this happens at runtime rather than before the circle starts up. As a result, you can use a setup like the one shown below to make extremely large circles that shut off early and thus can be quickly restarted.
