Would be great to allow Meta Tags for each article

Currently, the meta-tags are created based on the item itself.

I'll see if I can add it.

I've been pondering this, and then forgot about it (sorry!).

But isn't the description default created enough? It's based on first paragraph or summary. Keywords etc. aren't used anymore nowadays by searchengines?

If you want it extended still, I'll keep it on the list.

you could check for the existence of the https://github.com/kinglozzer/silverstripe-metatitle extension and use this field instead of automatic metatitle generation.

afaik meta keywords are not needed anymore (some seo specialists think differently), but could be added as an extension.

I should work on this issue. A tiny bit very short on time though. PR's are welcome!

I was literally going to make an issue regarding this given that I have implemented this into my own copy of your module.

I would also recommend implementing twitter cards and facebook open-graph support as well.

https://dev.twitter.com/cards/overview
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/best-practices

For key words, all I have done is literally aggregated all tag titles into a single string (lowercase) and delimited them by a single comma. Although as someone mentioned above, I don't believe they are used any more by search engines, at least that seems to be the case for Google.

It's on my todolist, but I have less time than work sadly.

If you have a tested integration, PR's are welcome! And yes, I've been looking at cards and everything ;) I just.... Ooohh! Squirrel!

Haha, I can look at making a pull request at some point. Although right now
I am making use of a copy of the most recent version of the repository
because I was committing it into an SVN repository anyway.

I'll look into forking and making the changes and then making the pull
request against that change. I need to confirm that it all works well live
given that I am doing this all locally at the moment with WAMP.
