Launching the screensaver opens it in demo mode initially, rather than with a local or remote 'Live' protein as described in the README. It states:

It can connect to local or remote FAHClients and visualize the running simulations.

fah-viewer allows users to choose the host, port, and slot (through command line arguments). Many screensavers have settings to change aspects of the screensaver. It would be useful to have the option to choose the host, port, and slot in these settings.
