I find that "Root resource" is more confusing to readers than anything else and is a bit frustrating that it is mapped to index.html.
What would be nice is if there was a way to specify which top-level menu items appear or at least which ones map to what html page so it could default to a different view in index.html.
At the very least, I think it would be better if "Overview" (overview-summary.html) was actually index.html since IMO its contents is the most useful/readable.
