Structural response module_degredation

Dear all,

in the structural response module there is the possibility to use the energy option for the cyclic strength degradation or no degradation. If I use the results of both options to create the fragility functions with the next tab, I get higher values of the probability of exceedance at the damage states for the version without degradation than with degradation. I thought that through the degradation in stiffness and strength there would be a higher probability of exceedance?

Thank you for your message. The current implementation of the degradation parameters have been adapted from the simplestSDOF4.tcl script developed by Prof Vamvatsikos that you can find at http://users.ntua.gr/divamva/software.html.

I will analyze this further in the meantime and get back to you ASAP.
