Hi,
I know this might be "out of the scope" or "too much to rewrite" but it would be awesome if you could create a port of this mod for bukkit servers as a plugin and/or port it to Fabric...

I've been trying to find a way to generate a mc world of a portion of the earth but populated (structures and everything) on a scale of 1:50 (I wanted even bigger, but 1:50 is the max to enjoy all mountains tops for current mc height limit)...

this mod would be what I need, but there are 3 issues, one personal and 2 needed:

  • I tend to avoid having modded servers, because mods tend to require the clients to have the mod too, and my goal is to have a server easy to access without having to download any mods...
  • My server's going to be updated to 1.17.1, so this mod wouldn't work...
  • if it's a mod then Fabric modded servers are way more efficient than Forge modded ones (on my experience), so I would recommend port it to Fabric, at least for 1.13+...

Absolutely would love to support multiple frontends for the mod- just quite a bit of implementation work. 😅
But along with porting to new versions it'd definitely be a priority!

great! thanks!
you could have Terra mod as an example, they have implemented their mod to plugins as well...
I wish I knew proper Java programming, but I understand that it might be hard...

for the mod side, I really recommend Fabric, actually when the 1.17 update came out Fabric was the first one to release an update, even before Spigot and Forge, they were the first ones... The servers are very stable too... well, I can only wish you good luck...

looking at the 1.18 snapshot this mod could take advantage of that! making it possible to have even bigger world scales because of the new height limit... anyways, I'll be looking forward for this mod future frontends... :)
