Mobile app specific API's

A growing number of APIs are being developed with a specific focus on providing data to a single mobile app.
As a stakeholder in the API strategy, I would like to include this specific category of APIs in the architecture and define the rules that apply to this scenario. My assumption is that the number of clients using these APIs will grow over time. By exposing the design of these APIs on developer.overheid.nl, we can enable new use cases for apps that leverage existing capabilities while adhering to new functionalities that address emerging business challenges and opportunities.
