I have seen in the description of this mod on the mod portal that we are limited to one per player, i assume this is probably to avoid having to create an infinite number of surfaces.
if my assumption is right i would suggest to take a look at Factorissimo 2 - notnotmelon fork 🍴 which solves the surface problem by simply just putting all of the same tier on the same surface so you end up with only one surface per tier.
assuming you keep track of all the relevant values like for example roboport "regions" you can get the same behaviour as if it was a seperate surface by just spacing it out far enough and if a vehicle gets destoryed you can just "clear" the area and re use it for another vehicle later rather then deleting and creating new surface.
Feel free to ignore this if im misunderstanding the situation and this turns out to not be relevant to the current state of the mod.
