I have a large monitor that sometimes it's too wide for the task I want to focus on. For example, if I split the monitor into 2 rows and snap a browser window to the bottom row, my field of view isn't large enough and I have to keep looking left and right.
The way to around this is to split the bottom row into 3 columns, with the left and right columns being small just to trim that area. They are still snappable though (which sometimes happens by mistake).
It'd be nice to mark certain areas as "dead", meaning if I hold CTRL and move a window around, they will not show up as eligible areas to be snapped to.
It's not a huge issue but it'd be a nice improvement.
