I was trying to enforce scan method according to https://cloud.google.com/spanner/docs/sql-best-practices#enforce-scan-method, but emulator doesn't support this hint and returns error.

code = "InvalidArgument", desc = "Unsupported hint: SCAN_METHOD."

The simplest solution would be just to accept such hint and internally do nothing.
