Create Installable Module with pip #2

@tohch4 glad you like it in our readthedocs we describe using govready with our docker images. We are actually in the process of updating our docker images so this will change within the next week. Feel free to make a contribution! However, if you just want to get started feel free to use the current image that is out there. |
I will look at your Docker images and consider whether anyone will use the PyPI package as well. Thanks for your quick response, @davidpofo! |
@peterkaminski @tohch4 Introducing you both. @peterkaminski is working on an improved Docker version. And it looks like Peter just updated our new Docker repo: https://github.com/GovReady/govready-docker |
@tohch4 Would love to turn GovReady-Q into pip package! |
Hi @tohch4 ... were you talking about making the GovReady-Q app pip installable or the CUB utilities? |
Hey, no problem. So, I am in the midst of a refactoring of the scripts to use a single entry point; I think when that is done it would make great sense to then make the whole package pip installable. At the moment, though, I think the best way to work with the utlities is via a local checkout and install. |
First off, big fan, and I would like to make more use of this as much as I can, because only I can prevent copy-paste.
To that end, can I work with your team to create a PyPI module and/or potentially a Docker container so I can make use of it in different pipelines as I work with @gregelin and others?
