GrandOrgue uses .wav samples in collections called sample sets. I highly recommend looking at https://github.com/GrandOrgue/grandorgue/wiki and especially the tutorials at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNz9AJhjubTdoQoBf6TGADcTSOEyk0X5I which are somewhat old but still very informative even if many things in the GUI have been re-arranged. It's certainly possible to play MIDI files with GO but you might have some issues with what part is played on what manual and much more like stop selection since GO is primarily intended to be a live performance tool with connected MIDI keyboards. |

In case it is the very first time you are coping with GrandOrgue, MIDI etc. you probably need to invest some time first to learn more about those topics. |

I"m at a loss. I could really use a sort of "hand holding" walkthrough on how to use grandorgue -- I have a win10 system with nothing but mp3s. I converted an mp3 to midi, but now I can't figure out what to do next to try to play it with grandorgue. tnx
