No WiFi calling on Pixel 8

I cannot get wifi calling to work. It has been since January 3rd. I kind of just hoped it was an known issue that would go away.

It is setup to default to WiFi calling but it simply never uses it... I saw there was an issue for the Pixel 8a but I could not find any related to the Pixel 8.

Have you spoken to your network provider to ask whether they support WiFi Calling on Pixel 8 devices?
