Writing this down so we don't forget.

Going forward we'd ideally want to be able to run python user scripts as-is.

Realistically we may need some compromise:

Able to run simple scripts as-is
Provide tools for automated conversion to facilitate converting the more complex scripts

Options mentioned:

IronPython runtime
...
