This is a save issue instead of a bug, I'm hoping you guys can look and see what went wrong here. I have a Cleric, a Druid, and a Warmage of appropriate level, and they have all been using Flame Strike just fine... until now. I first ran into this problem while fighting the Hextorites at the Temple, and then I was ambushed by Robin of Locksley and her crew. Even after resting, none of my characters are able to cast the spell; they do an animation (the wrong one, at that) and nothing happens. Thoughts? (Use IWD portraits)

So, I'm probably not using exactly the same version you are, but when I loaded your game files, I was able to case flame strike with all (I think) your relevant characters. At least, I was just in the town area they're initially standing it.

Hmmm. I have an idea. Try casting Holy Word on top of the party first. I just got that spell and have been using it as a grenade on top of my party, because it shouldn't affect anyone in it, but maybe it's causing weirdness anyway?

Well, something like that could explain it if it were making your characters deaf (which can cause spell fizzling). It seems like all your guys are properly immune, though.

Though, it wouldn't explain your original statement that even after resting they couldn't cast it, because the effects of those spells don't last that long.

What does the 'wrong animation' look like? Is it the spell fizzling animation (looks like a sort of white flash)? Or something else?

Hmmm... if you were to cast Divine Favor/Divine Power, it looks like that. It's SUPER weird. The spell isn't being miscast (as part of a mechanic), the spell is literally just failing to execute correctly.
