How to speed up 'binom'

I am running a DS analysis for 100k cells with 10000 genes. I only want to get the results for a pathway of 12 genes. It took days to get the results. Is there a way to speed up the process since I only want to have the adjust.p.value for 12 genes? I know to have the adjust Pvalue (FDR), we need to have the results for all the genes.
