Used to be able to go to advanced -> clear prediction data (or something) but the feature is totally gone now. I shouldn't have to erase all my settings just to hide sensitive information.

My apologies.
The version listed on F-Droid is 2.3.

What you can do is go to corrcection settings and disable Personalized suggestions.
As far as I know this always was the only way of clearing learned data, at least I can't remember a clear prediction data preference.

It may have been called "Delete Personal Dictionary" or similar, until dictionary functionality was (apparently) offloaded to the OS. Offloading it to the OS is reasonable, but I think there were some extra side effects that got missed when it was removed from the app, and now the two are totally unrelated.
