Selects' dropdown fails to appear, still works with Chrome.

I see the same failure in my latest Chrome (37 on windows 8.1).

This sounds critical.

I'm also having a same issue.

this doesn't work on Chrome (v39, Windows 8.1 and Windows 7)
It works on Chrome (v37, Ubuntu)
