Hi @Ingvar-Y There is no specific reason for these version requirements, other than to ensure a minimum of stability. In fact, there is a lack of rigorous testing of specific versions of these packages in the library. Feel free to open a pull request with the required versions or the ones you think are most ideal (or the tests for different packages versions), so we can explore it and discuss it there. |

Is there a reason for such strict requirements of dependencies? Looking at 0.9.0 release json on pypi :
Matplotlib and requests requirements look absurdly strict - is there anything that breaks if an earlier version is used? Other dependencies could also benefit from loosening. What are exactly the features that change that often in these packages that require such pinning? It would be much easier to use frouros if it didn't conflict with other libraries during installation.
