Possibility of exporting a dataset metadata in a format for NCBI's Genbank/SRA

This feature is intended for Depositors

What inspired the request?

It is dificult to convince NGS data owners to deposit their data in dataverses, since they always have to deposit in NCBI in order to publish, this feature would eliminate the need to fill metadata twice, and facilitate the whole process

What existing behavior do you want changed?

A button to export metadata, or even a button to directly open a ncbi submission page with the metadate pre-filled from an existing dataset.

@BioDataAdmin hi! I looked at the "SRA Metadata Overview" page at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sra/docs/submitmeta but I can't find any information about the format. Is it XML? JSON? Do you have specifics? Also, is this something you might be interested in providing a pull request for? 😄

Of the two options you mentioned, it would be much easier for Dataverse to support another export format than to open a NCBI submission page with pre-filled values.
