Ist es vielleicht auch bald möglich, die archäologisch gereihten Daten durch Expansion und Permutation innerhalb der einzelnen stratigraphischen Einheiten in die Kurve einzupassen? Das wäre zu schön!

The method Raiko is referring to is described in our most recent Varna paper p. 293 - 299. I guess you could (and should) do something comparable with Bayesian statistics.
