Example video

When we play a regular video in 2D fullscreen, it is possible to use the control toolbar to change the side of the window.

This video is actually in 3D Side By Side format, so we enable that.

But then it is not possible any more to change the size of the window.

One possible solution is to use the same control toolbar for both 2D and 3D Side by Side videos.

But in 3D SBS we're in fully immersive mode, so why do we want to add resize controls?

@svillar The issue happens with 3D videos that are not immersive, like in a movie. It is possible to resize the window by switching back and forth between 2D and 3D Side By Side.

Beh, even the title talks about SBS videos 🤦 I should read more carefully, sorry for the noise.

So I guess you mean is inconvenient because you have to go back to 2D mode, resize, and then switch to the 3D projection. Yeah I agree is cumbersome. However all that process involves creating OpenXR surfaces with different sizes, there might be technical challenges, but worth looking indeed.
