I'm trying to utilize the Sorosim framework in Matlab to create a simulation of a single rod that has a helix configuration. I'm not too sure how to do this or if it's supported. So far I've only been able to create straight horizontal rods and do the introductory example. If possible, could you please let me know how I can go about creating this simulation?

Hello Absternalla,
Yes it is possible to create a link with a helical shape. you can do this by specifying a fixed strain for the first 3 DoFs (rotational strains) in the "Basis Definition" dialogue box.
