Connect Onyxia to Harbor Helm Charts

I am working on setting up my own service catalog in Onyxia and would like to use Helm charts stored in Harbor. However, I’ve come across a few challenges:
Onyxia requires an HTTP(S)-based Helm repository to pull charts.
Harbor primarily supports Helm charts through its OCI registry, which does not provide the required HTTP(S) connection.
Tools like ChartMuseum are considered deprecated.
Is there a recommended or best practice for connecting Onyxia to Helm charts stored in Harbor?

Onyxia (Onyxia-API to be more specific) does not currently support OCI based registries as it relies on the index.yaml to get the list of available charts.
Last time I checked, there was no standard for indexing OCI based registries (that's actually one of the main selling point for moving to OCI, not having to bother with indexing and just publishing packages). See for example : helm/helm#10782
We could support OCI based catalogs but that would require some work (mostly passing to Onyxia-API the list of packages and their metadata instead of relying on the index.yaml).
I strongly think we should do it as OCI is, as you experienced, bound to replace old index.yaml mechanism one day.

Anyway, until we implement it, you are stuck on finding a way to have an index.yaml for Onyxia-API to work
