I tryed out the newest build of 86Box, [6246]. Now i have a problem, i can´t explain to myself.

After aproximative 2 minutes after the boot of Windows 98, this error occures.
Error Win98

This Error makes, that the Clock of Win 98 does not work anymore. Even, when i can move the mouse, and click the buttons, the clock did not update.
Do youu have any idee, if this is a win 98 or the 86Box problem?

I think you should reach out to @86Box with this issue, as it has no relation to SoftGPU, since 86box emulates its own hardware.

Currently, I believe SoftGPU does not support 86box (nor PCem).

SoftGPU is for environments like VirtualBox or VMware workstation, which do not provide standard 3D-accelerated drivers for Win9x guests.
And importantly, you need a fast CPU on the guest (if using llvmlipe) or a GPU that supports DirectX9 or higher.
86box has neither.

86Box has ViRGE and Voodoo support, so it is more practical, in terms of compatibility and speed, to install the corresponding drivers on Win9X guests.

Installing SoftGPU on 86box is like running an even heavier emulation on top of an emulated environment.
