Affected Theme

  • SuperPins
  • v1.4.2

Affected Theme Settings

  • Makes pinned tabs look similar to Essentials (icon only in a grid)

Zen Version: e.g "1.0.1-a.2"

1.0.2-b.2 (Firefox 133.0.3) (64-bit)

System OS: e.g "Windows 11"

Ubuntu

Describe the bug

When mouse over pinned tabs a reset button appears. Because the pinned tabs are so small this means they move by a large proportion and it's easy to press the wrong reset button when aiming for the next pinned tab. Best would be to increase the width of the pinned tab slightly and to make the reset button so small it fits without changing the width.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. get zen, turn on pinned tabs
  2. add SuperPins, turn on "Makes pinned tabs look similar to Essentials"
  3. pin two tabs
  4. mouse over right hand tab, move slightly left and back. Click.
  5. you just clicked the wrong tab

Expected behavior

looking at a location on screen and then clicking on that location should reliably cause

Work around - also install https://zen-browser.app/mods/c45c4894-d6bd-47fc-997a-0c4d015334f1/ - no reset button, no problem.
