Other Nether Biomes Don't Seem to Spawn Anymore #13
Comments
What I can reccomend is highering the weight of BoP biomes, as by default I think they are 1. While the nether backport has theres higher at like 5-6. Also I'd see if that version of BoP is supported via Nether-API and both are updated to the latest version. As of 0.4, the nether backport will cease development besides hard crashes, you can find its changes and reasoning here -> https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/unseens-nether-backport/files/5857854 |
Both BOP and Nether-API are in their most current versions, but how do I make sure the weights are configured correctly? If I modify the weights in biomesoplenty/defaults, they get reset, and if I copy the configurations I want to change to the root of the biomesoplenty config folder, I'm not sure if my changes were applied. Nature's Compass is still saying it can't find the biomes in a 10k block range. |
I set the biome frequency for all of the biomes added to 1, yet the biomes still don't spawn, sadly. |
this is weird tbh, we're doing a test server with all of our stuff and we're getting BoP biomes with the backports at there default weights, could you by chance put you're whole modlist that you have? |
There's 551 mods currently, listing the mods would be very difficult, honestly. |
You can test BOP and Unseen's Nether Backport separately on your own |
Not sure how big of an issue this is, or if I should report this bug elsewhere, but I have noticed that since I installed this mod I can't seem to find Biomes O' Plenty Biomes anymore. I'm using Nature's Compass to search in a 10,000 block radius, to no avail.
I look forward to any help that can be provided.
