Wrong thumbnail for videos and no picture for channel

The agent doesn't seem to use the thumbnail that 'youtube-dl' downloaded, even though it is present in the folder.
Plus should the title of the video in plex have the id?

I followed all the instructions carefully.
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or the agent isn't working at the moment.

I just did a fresh install of both the scanner and this agent, and I'm having the same problem. Unfortunately, I don't know enough Python to troubleshoot it myself, but from what I can tell, it seems that the agent is having trouble finding and/or using the JSON and thumbnail files. Could it be that updates to the scanner have broken the agent?

Could one of you share your Agent logs (where to find the logs)? Just the log file for this agent should be enough. If you want you can also email it to me. There isn't much I can debug without it.

Found same issue and I think it is related to Plex update/upgrade. After upgrade I see next directories under Plex:

So when I moved Youtube-DL-Agent from Plug-ins-ab6e1a058 to newly created Plug-ins-2b1b51db9 it back again

Having the same issue on my end, some videos just match no thumbnail or metadata while others get matched perfectly, having tried both this plugin and the original ZeroQI one and consistently the same problem. Have tried re-downloading unmatched videos, removing and re-adding plugins, deleting and recreating libraries, etc.

Is this thread/plugin still active? I'd hate to lose my YouTube library and really like the way this one works otherwise.
