Hi! What do you think about include i18n yaml like the rails api. I think that feature could be great!
I can work on this and submit the pull request!

Thanks for the note. Having multiple translation backends is beyond the scope of what I originally intended Gettext.jl to be, but I certainly don't want to discourage you. Maybe it would be better to have a more general package that handles multiple backends. I think I myself am uninterested in maintaining such a package, but I encourage you to make one (or modify Gettext.jl to have this feature), and once you get it working it could then supersede Gettext.jl.
