My name is Zhihong Wang, a graduate student major in math from China. I like doing things with image recognition and have particular interest in the project "Better QR Code Support".
I have some programming experience in C, Python, Mathematica and started to learn Julia in the ecnu mini-courses last semester. Other than that, I have only done some self-entertainment projects, such as automatic chess playing and solving Rubik's cube, which are mainly based on pyautogui and cv2.
For the GSOC project, I plan to do the following
add support to decode QR code
provide more coding styles
I just start to read the QR-Code-Tutorial and updating notes in my blog(written in Chinese). I would be happy if someone could give me some advice.
I'm very thankful to @johnnychen94 for bringing me the chance to know Julia, I was certainly attracted to it! Glad to join the Julia community and to discuss with you guys. Thanks!
Add: This is my first time applying to an open source project, feel free to correct me with any comment.
