As you already linked in your OP, you can't have several instances occupying the same account at the same time. You can connect them, but playing on that account on one instance will automatically kill any other playing instance on the same account. You can easily test this with your own ASF and Steam client, try to launch game on your PC, see what happens to ASF with games played while idle or currently farming. You can launch up to 32 games at once from one instance on the account, this is why games played while idle accepts an array, not a single appID. Hours this way will be multiplied, e.g. 24 * 32 = 768 hours in a single day (instead of 24), but spreaded evenly across all games you played. It's not possible to add more hours than there are in a day to a single appID, but you can add 24 hours to 32 selected appIDs in a day instead.
No tutorial needed, simply specify your 32 appIDs in games played while idle property, FAQ elaborates further on that. If you need help configuring ASF, setting up section is the right place to start with. |
