Do you have the rev. 1.2 board? See here: |

Hello,
I can't seem to update the display firmware for my Ender 3 V2 and was hoping for some help. I've successfully updated my printer firmware to v2.0.1 using E3V2-BLTouch-3x3-v4.2.2-v2.0.1.bin - and this update seems to work great.
I downloaded the source and copied the "DWIN_SET (Gotcha)" firmware set to the 8 GB SD card that comes with the printer and renamed it to "DWIN_SET" as instructed. I then put the SD card into the display unit and turn on the printer, and I get the attached image. It just sits here looking like this until I turn the machine back off. If I take the SD card out of the display unit and turn the machine back on, it works great ... minus no display firmware update.
Having seen this thread (#1311) I've tried reformating the SD card using FAT32 and 4k allocation unit size (on Windows PC). First time I tried this using a quick format and that didn't work. Second time I used a full format and that didn't work either. Wondering if it was the version of the main firmware, I installed v1.3.5.b (E3V2-BLTouch-3x3-v4.2.2-v1.3.5.b.bin) and used the images from that source - but still getting the same result.
Seems like other people who have had issues were saying the orange screen was popping up quickly without updating. Instead, I'm just getting the attached image.
Has anyone encountered this? Any ideas?
Thanks!
