Problem Statement

With the recent adoption of CoPilot more of our end users require recording and transcription we would like the ability to update the teams policy on storing recordings to allow for a longer retention period.

Benefits for MSPs

This is currently a manual task that we perform as part of a CoPilot onboarding which would be a time saving to speed up onboardings.

Value or Importance

While this is not critical it would help in auditing and standardising teams retention policies for clients.

PowerShell Commands (Optional)

Set-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy -Identity Global -NewMeetingRecordingExpirationDays 120
