First off, I can't issue refunds, as you did not purchase the app from me. You purchased the app from apple. It's like asking Coca Cola for a refund for the bad coke you bought in your local grocery store. You need to ask the apple App Store support team for a refund. Second, this is patently false. I use this app myself daily - along with hundreds of thousands of users, and this is absolutely not related. It is not possible for this app to in any way affect how the official app functions. If it were, it would be a serious flaw in apples operating systems, and it is just not the case. What you're describing is a coincidence, and I challenge you to repeat the issue. If you can repeat, I would be very interested to hear about the circumstances, as this is a) not possible, b) not been reported in the three months since release of Bluetooth support. Cheers, Kim |
That is a very aggressive response and normally I would be more than happy to test and work with you to improve your app but I am stunned at such a response. |
I'm sorry - did not mean to sound aggressive, but you went straight to demanding a refund - which I can't issue - instead of leading with how we can fix this potential issue you've run into. Not exactly opening the dialogue there... |
Ok I’ll take that. I have been burnt by apps before. For some reason when I pay .69p devs have been really helpful and supportive but any app over the price of £10 I have had some serious shit from!! So I’ll apologise too. The app looked great, sadly one of the reasons I bought it is not fully supported due to apple which is to use as a no touch key but I am happy to see it as a strong backup. - also I did not realise I could buy direct if I knew that I always would as I pay the same but you get more money.Let me do some more testing and I’ll let you know. I am an agile delivery consultant so know a reasonable amount about testing.Sent from my iPhone 12Tech BSS LtdOn 28 Mar 2023, at 08:01, Kim Hansen ***@***.***> wrote:

Awesome - let's let bygones be bygones and start fresh :-) First, to clarify, you can't buy direct - sales have to go through apple - but the way the appstore works, is that I make the app available for apple to sell - apple sells it, and handles the store and transactions, in return for 30%. For ios/watchos/ipados apps there's no alternative to that - and apart from apples ginormous cut for handling a simple thing as a storefront - I'm pretty happy with that. But it does mean that apple is the reseller (grocery store) and I am the manufacturer. As for background bluetooth support - I am literally working on that now - you can go try it out right now in the testflight beta: https://testflight.apple.com/join/FdzFOLZv It does requrire Apple watch series 6+ and watchos 9 - and the implementation right now is a bit laggy, since watchos queues up bluetooth background requests to conserve battery. It's laggy enough that I myself become impatient - but it DOES work most of the time. I'm trying to improve that, which is why it has not been released to the store yet... |
Ok let me sort out the app not connecting, perhaps I did jump too early. Since installing your app the car has taken ages to connect to the app. It still unlocked so I did not think much about it, but as a new owner with no uss I am waiting for 2023.6.9 so been checking to see if I had a download. When I removed your app it connected immediately twice. Now it’s gone back to taking ages.I have raised a service call so let me get that sorted then I’ll try again.Sent from my iPhone 12Tech BSS LtdOn 28 Mar 2023, at 08:16, Kim Hansen ***@***.***> wrote:

Had the app running and when I wanted my phone to connect using the Tesla app it took ages logged out and immediately it connected quickly. This is a major floor and I would like a refund based on this please.
