This is the beta release delivered for third-party preliminary evaluation.
Evaluation is focusing on installation and user-operation of the system. Sensitivity and specificity will be evaluated for the full v2.0 release.
- Introduces the ARGUS-AI software framework
- Introduces Ultrasound Linearization to convert convex US data to a coordinate system that provides uniformly dense image information, thereby better support interpretation by convolutional neural networks.
- Supports detection of
- pneumothorax (using sonosite c5.3 probes)
- traumatic brain injury: optic nerve-sheath diameter > 5mm (using Butterfly IQ probes)
- peripheral nerve block success: needle within 5mm of vessel (adjacent to nerve) (using Butterfly IQ probes)
- endotracheal intubation success: tube within the trachea (using Butterfly IQ probes)
