I echo the suggestions by Deborah/Audrey on DCRM-L. Remove reference to "digital"; perhaps begin the definition with "A collection of all the characters of a typeface in one size ..."; and address examples inserted into the text without being identified as examples.
Here too, I would like to hear an explanation of why writtenIn can have a domain of Item. My assumption would be that two resources with different Font or Handwriting are necessarily different Instances.
Multiple comments.

For the label for writtenIn: Would "writing form" be any better? (Sort of inspired by: http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300201263)
Will there be an inverse property for writtenIn?
What does it mean when a property in the recommendation lacks a specified Domain or Range? Some have both, some don't.
