When scanning, 1/3 of all my artists don't appear.

I have all of my music in an external drive. I have about 150 artists. I've been using LMS, but now I installed Lyrion. I was about to scan all of my artists, which they are organized from A-Z. When I select scan, and click on my HDD, it only appears until artists starting with the letter M. Bellow that I cannot access. I already tried giving permissions, since I'm using MAC OS, Sequoia, and still nothing, any thoughts?
