maybe a bunch of tools related to answering questions for running jobs:

how much storage will i need
how much node-h do i need
how does node-h of one system compare to another?
time to do transfers e.g. from tape or via globus
histograms of measurements?
measures of thermalization?

model with nodes, lattice size, compression, etc
