Hi all,

This is a project I started long time ago when WebSocket was being drafted because it was a fun challenge. It made me dug into using Python generators in a way that proved very exciting.

Fast forward to now and this project remains but I'm not actively working on it. It's open source so I'm happy for this project to carry its life and I will not remove it from the face of the Earth. Still, you should be asking yourself if that's the right dependency for you considering there are more up to date alternatives these days.

So, by all means use ws4py, study it and have fun with it. But just be warned about where it stands :)
